Today our class is answering another One and Only Ivan Ponder. These ponders are fun because you can think about being a Gorilla. Here is the ponder.

Review: Ivan was a Gorilla who didn’t have a normal life, he lived in a human house and then he lived in a mall and was in a circus. I really liked the book because it was funny and some of the story is true!! I think lots of people would enjoy the book but I think my sister would, because she loves animals. My favourite part was the ending because it was all happy for Ivan and Ruby. I liked Ruby because she was cheeky but lovely.

Earlier in the year our class (the best class rm 23) made some maths art. Everyone got an irregular polygon piece of paper and we had to draw specific lines to make angles. We had to draw things inside the shapes.  Here is my art coloured in. I hope you like it!

Yesterday, Kauri Team played lots of games with Kelly Sports. It was really fun. I had to go home early so I only got to do one activity, it was really cool and creative. We played Inchworm with coach Shane. I really enjoyed it. Inchworm is where you have to get toys and bean bags without touching the grass, so you have to stay on lillypads and help your teammates.  Here is a picture of us playing Inchworm. I hope you like it!!

Would You Rather…..

Today our class is answering a Would You Rather ponder. It was challenging deciding what option to choose. It was fun answering this. Here is the ponder. I hope you like it!

I would rather be the best player on the team and we always lose because I can teach people some skills so we can be better. Plus it doesn’t matter if you win or lose.

Today our class is doing another One And Only Ivan ponder. It has been fun answering Ivan questions. It was challenging because I had to describe the answer and it had to make sense. Here it is, I hope you like it.

I think Ivan does remember things from his childhood I just don’t think he wants to remember.

I think Ivan would want to forget because he remembers horrible things from his childhood, like his family died.

🤖😀Would You Rather….🤖😀

Today our class is doing another Would You Rather ponder. It was challenging deciding which one to choose. Here is the ponder, I hope you like it!

I would rather have my own robot so I can program it to do lots of cool things like tidy my room or entertain me etc. I wouldn’t want a jetpack because it would be really hard to control and I am not a big fan of heights.

Today our class is posting one of our tasks for our writing: View From Above. A challenge that I faced when completing this task was thinking of good descriptive words to write. Here is the picture I was writing about.

Task 1

These sentences are sick and need your help to feel better. Write in past tense.

 They were in a circle. He held on tight. The wind rushes past.
Noisily, Tulsi, Danica, Bhargavi and I were skydiving in a circle. We held on to each other, scared to let go. Woosh, the loud, cold wind rushed past us. 

Is there anything that could make It better or make more sense??

Today our class is doing another One And Only Ivan ponder. It was challenging thinking of the right words to write. I hope you enjoy.

1. I think Ivan wants to help Ruby because he promised, and now Stella is dead so he doesn’t want to break the promise.

2. I think Ruby would and wouldn’t want to live at the zoo. Firstly Ruby would want to live at the zoo because she would get better food and be happier. I think Ruby wouldn’t want to live at the zoo because she would miss everyone and she would miss what Ivan did to her.

Today our class is doing another Would You Rather ponder. It was challenging to pick one, it was a hard decision. Here is the ponder:).

I would rather have the ability to fly so you can see lots of cool things. I wouldn’t want to read minds because people would just make fun of them for their own private thoughts. If I could fly I would travel the world and see lots.
